DAY 7 - PRESIDENT (UK) I just CAN'T get their song out of my head. I promise this will be the last music related entry for a good bit.

DAY 6 - Original Today's design is completely original and a harsh departure from what I try to design but I was inspired by President debut track hence the wording. I tried to combine the motifs of Fightstar's skull and floral with PRESIDENT's vibe by styling it similarly to the texture of the dollar bill.

Day 5 - Mr. Robot Today's poster entry was inspired by the BRUTALISM genre of design that I kind of experimented with? I used a background image and didn't disrupt the grid system unlike most examples I looked at. I think my style relies too much on heavy contrast.

Day 4 - NieR: Automata If you have played the game, you would know how unique and profound it's story is which is what inspired me to make it the focus on today's design. I had a lot of fun hunting through my own gameplay footage to source the images used. I think today's most challenging aspect is BOTH removing a subject cleanly from its original background and lighting.

DAY 3 - The Number 3 Today's poster design simply marks the third entry of this series. Experimentation of composition grids, manipulating paths and once again textures. If you really like the number 3, then I guess this post has it all for you?

DAY 2 - Fightstar My all time favorite band, carried me through my teenage years and still keep me headbanging and motivated into my early 30's. Today's focus was composition, texture and visual hierarchy. What next should I focus on? What did I do wrong/right?

DAY 1 — Sabrina Carpenter Kicking off a new personal project to help sharpen my design skills and (hopefully!) boost visibility while I job hunt. Each day, I’ll be creating a poster design based on a random person, theme, or moment — no strict rules, just creative flow. Inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s Met Gala slay, she had to be my Day 1 pick.
